Britney Spears (Born December 2, 1981) is an American recording artist and entertainer. Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star on the television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993–1994. After a brief membership with the pop musical group Innosense, Britney Spears signed a recording contract with Jive Records, releasing her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. In 31st December 2007 Bipasha Basu charged Rs. 90 lakhs for performing at at the J W Mariott Hotel. This time she is going to perform at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai.

Carving Dreams head artist and public relation Tanujaa Mehra says, "Yes Bipasha will be performing at Sahara Star on 31 December for the New Year's Eve for 15 minutes. However, I cannot disclose her charges for that."

This year Katrina Kaif will perform at J W Mariott Hotel.
